1. What kind of gemstones do you sell?

Omary Gem’s specializes in natural colored gemstones—rubies, emeralds, sapphires and other select stones—alongside a curated selection of lab‑grown diamonds. Every product page clearly states whether the stone is a natural gem or a lab‑grown diamond so you always know exactly what you’re buying.

2. Are your gemstones and diamonds real?

Yes. All of our colored gemstones are natural stones sourced from the earth. Our lab‑grown diamonds are real diamonds created in a controlled environment, with the same chemical composition and visual properties as mined diamonds. The only difference is their origin.

3. What’s the difference between natural gems and lab‑grown diamonds?

Natural gemstones form over millions of years beneath the earth’s surface, which gives them unique character, inclusions, and rarity. Lab‑grown diamonds are grown using advanced technology that replicates the conditions in which diamonds form naturally, often resulting in very clean stones at a more accessible price. You choose based on what matters most to you: rarity, story, budget, or all of the above.

4. Do your gemstones and diamonds come with certificates?

Some higher‑value gemstones and many of our diamonds come with certificates from recognized laboratories (for example GIA, GRS, or equivalent), and this will always be mentioned on the product page. For non‑certified stones, we still apply strict internal standards for color, clarity, cut, and overall beauty, and you can contact us if you’d like to explore certification options for a specific gem.

5. How do I know if a stone is suitable for a ring, pendant, or earrings?

Different stones have different levels of hardness and durability. Rubies and sapphires are excellent choices for everyday rings, while some emeralds and more delicate gems are often better for pendants or occasional‑wear pieces. If you tell us how you plan to use the stone, we’ll recommend options that make sense for real‑life wear and long‑term enjoyment.

6. Do you sell finished jewelry or only loose stones?

Our core focus is loose gemstones and diamonds. However, we work with trusted partners and jewelers who can help you design and set your stone into a finished piece, such as a ring, pendant, or earrings. If you’re looking for a complete piece from stone to finished jewelry, reach out and we’ll guide you through the options.

7. Can I see more photos or videos of a gem?

Yes. Whenever possible, we can provide additional photos or short videos of a stone under different lighting conditions so you can better appreciate its color, clarity, and overall presence. Just send us the stone’s reference number and what you’d like to see, and we’ll do our best to provide it.

8. Where do you ship from?

Omary Gem’s is based in Montreal, with operations connected to our hubs in Bangkok and Hong Kong. Depending on the stone and logistics, your order may ship from one of these locations. You’ll see shipping details and estimated delivery times at checkout and in your confirmation email.

9. Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to many countries around the world. At checkout, you’ll see the available countries, shipping options, estimated delivery times, and any applicable duties or taxes before you place your order. If your country is not listed, contact us and we’ll see what we can arrange.

10. What is your return policy?

Because gemstones and diamonds are high‑value and often unique, returns are handled carefully. In general, stones must be returned within a defined window, unused, and in their original condition and packaging. Some pieces may be final sale. 11. Do you offer repairs, resizing, or warranties?

For loose stones, we don’t resize or alter the gem itself. If your stone is set into jewelry by one of our partner jewelers, they may offer resizing, repairs, or warranties on the finished piece. If something happens to your stone or setting, contact us and we’ll help you understand your options and next steps.

12. How should I care for my gemstones and diamonds?

Avoid harsh chemicals, sudden temperature changes, and heavy impact for all stones. Store pieces separately to prevent scratching, and clean gently with mild soap, lukewarm water, and a soft brush unless the product description recommends something different. If you’re not sure how to care for a specific stone, ask us before cleaning.

13. Are your gems and diamonds a good investment?

Some high‑quality natural gemstones and diamonds can hold or increase value over time, but we don’t market our pieces as guaranteed investments. We suggest buying stones you genuinely love and want to wear or collect, and seeking independent financial advice if you’re purchasing mainly for investment reasons.
